Ok so we’re ploughing through January, the longest month of the year is nearly done people the end is neigh. I don’t know about you but I have been trying my best to get out with the kids but the weather isn’t making it easy on us. Anyway here is how we’ve been fairing up this chilly New Year…
That's it, all done and almost back to normal. It's actually been a really good festive break this year. This photo is from a very cold New Years trip to the park and ride on a miniature locomotive, as grandpa Pig would say. It was great other than all the steam and ash in our face. Anywho The kiddies are back to pre school today and despite having a billion and one things I need to do I am really going to miss them.
Yep that's my jammies I'm sporting this Friday afternoon. It's no where near as nice as it sounds though. I did get dressed only to be vommed on by my girl. That's a bed sheet on my sofa as she vommed on that too, and her bed and floor. That said After two rounds she seems to have made a pretty good recovery! So now we're just stuck in the house washing and trying to keep the two and three year old happy. Wonderful.
It’s Tuesday which only means one thing, it’s pre school day for both these two. Mr T and I have a date in the city, I’m getting my make up done at #mac and there may be a cocktail or two. (My 1 of two pre planned dates where I am allowed to drink this day January). But on the blog today It is all about my little girl. We’re a month post op so I’m looking to see if it was worth it. Link in bio if you wish to know.
There was nothing chic about me today. You can check my stories out for that one. We went to the farm on this freezing freezing day. Not normally being fans of the farm it was a gamble but one that paid off. The kids have been utterly amazing all day and that was after an 8am start! 8am people, that’s the stuff dreams are made off. After the last few days I was so in need of a day like today. Even if I did have silly socks and a ski coat of for warmth.
A snap from @ashendhousefarm yesterday. The kiddos actually loved it despite being freezing. It was actually an amazing day from start to finish with the kids a far cry from the day before which was a non stop pain in the arse all as we were stuck in pretty much all day. There’s a new post on the blog about parenting in the house. Someone tell me I’m not the only one?! Link in bio if you want to help a Mama out.
