It has been a busy busy week here. The babies and I took a solo trip to the motherland of Bristol. It was a flying visit and we were there for all of two days and one night, visiting Grandma Barbie, Nanny Pat, my mum and my sister. It was oh so very busy, and pretty poor sleep but it was absolutely worth it. So given we made it there and back successfully, flying solo I think it is safe to say we will be back and making the most of non school days whilst we have the chance. So here are some photos from our stay
BRISTOL. We're home with my fam for the night. Despite the thunder that was forecast it remained dry and Grandma Barbie (or great grandma Barbie) and I managed to take the babes to the park. It's only June after all. She also just cooked me a steak. I should defo be doing her dinner 😕 that said it was damn good. It's pretty much the only meal she cooks for me when we come here, not surprising we like to frequent often. In other news I have voted. Let's see how that goes 😬 and my little lady is not asleep or likely to be anytime soon. Sigh.
From Grandma Barbie to Nanny Pat, our whistle stop tour of the mother land is complete. It went all too quickly but we had a lovely day at Clevedon seafront visiting Nanny Pat. We also tried (and failed) for the second time to get the little man a car seat as yes as nearly two he is still in his newborn seat 🙈. I am actually after a new seat for his sister as he can have hers. Any recommendations for a seat? I need one of those that are suitable from 9kg (she's only a slight 11kg at nearly three) but that they can sit in until they're 40, or 12 whatever the new limit is? Any recommendations?
'Come on Toby'. This little man will follow her anywhere. I took them to the park I was taken to as a child, it had changed a bit 20 (ahem something) years on but it was still a nice trip down memory lane. The big one is still asleep but then she has not stopped, or slept, for 96 hours so long may it continue for all our sake.
The view of #clevedonpier From Nanny Pats house. The sea is pretty grim and it was rather cloudy at the time but it's still a pretty cool #view to have on the regular. The toddlers loved looking for boats, anyway. Today though we are off into Birmingham for the day with both toddlers and the teen 😬. The teen had a prom make up trial at @maccosmetics I was hoping to get involved but Mr Tammy remains less and less enthusiastic about entertaining two small ones solo in brum 🙄 so no such luck I suspect…
A little off topic but we also spent our Sunday in Birmingham, it was not good, as you will see…
It has been one of hell of a day here. We braved Birmingham with two toddlers and a two hour make up session for the teen. It was as hideous as I expected it to be. It was zero fun for the toddlers and a whole lot of stress for me and Mr Tammy. I must say though the short fused man did good. He was an excellent peace keeper and mood improver for the small ones. We also had a pretty disgraceful experience at @phorestaurant which only added to the 'fun' of the day and then one hour of non stop fighting from the small ones before bed. Sooo tomorrow is a new day, thank gawd.
