When it comes to my face, or any part of my body I am always very conscious of what I put on my skin. It is after all your skin, your outer shell and you only have one skin, kind of. Either way I believe it is important to look after it and I have no shame in admitting I am a little bit precious about what I put on it. That said I am not afraid to experiment and try new products. So when I was asked if I would like to sample a selection of Elizabeth Grant Skin Care Products, after a little bit of research I was happy to say yes.
Elizabeth Grant is a Canadian based, although English born, company that has been running the last 60 years. It has become a family run company that specialises in producing ‘highly advanced luxury skincare products’every product includes this powerful patented anti-aging ingredient – a blend of vitamins, proteins, botanicals and anti-oxidants that penetrate deep into the skin helping to restore skin’s essential moisture, stimulate collagen and elastin production and repair damaged skin.’ They have also developed their own patented ingredient Torricelumn™, which has helped develop the company from a home-based business to a multi-million dollar global corporation. The company currently expanding it’s clientele base and seeking to make products for women of all age groups.
I was sent the following products;
Ultimate Caviar Nutruriche Infusion Serum 60ml (2x30ml chambers)
Starting strong, I think this has to be my favourite. I use it every morning after washing my face and before applying moisturiser. It has a soft and luxurious feel. You don’t need hugh amounts for a good coverage and it makes an excellent base for moisturiser, just what a good serum should do. It is designed to reduce the look of lines, roughness, and sagging skin. The two pronged attack of the serum aims to make skin look brighter, smoother and firmer, whilst hydrating your skin. Hydration is after all key to healthy looking skin.
Elizabeth Grant Supreme Active 35 Cream 100ml
This cream is designed to reduce the signs of ageing, which thanks to my two nocturnal toddlers has advanced somewhat in the last two years. The cream aims to target firmness, hydration, skin tone, uneven skin complexion, uneven roughness and radiance. What I like about it is that it is quite thick so you don’t need copious amounts for good coverage, in fact less is more with this cream. You can use a small amount and still feel as though your skin has been suitably covered and well treated. That said, I think the mature skin, or particularly dry patches of skin could justify a thicker application and or better results. There is no denying that your skin certainly feels smoother after use, particularly prolonged use.
Supreme Triple Effect Essence of Torricelum TM
This formula is suitable for all skin types, and helps address the signs of aging: lines and wrinkles, dryness, uneven skin tone, dullness and saggy skin. It also helps to revitalize the skin’s appearance for more beautiful, radiant, younger-looking skin. I have been using this every evening before applying the moisturiser. Again it only requires small amounts to get a sufficient coverage. It is light, non greasy and doesn’t feel sticky or tacky to touch.
On a side note, I was also sent a black medium size shoulder bag. I wasn’t expecting to use this but actually it has been surprisingly useful and doubled up as my new change bag. Shoulder straps are of perfect length, it’s not oversized but yet big enough to fit everything in. Certainly a welcome addition.
I have been using all of these products everyday for nearly three weeks now. I feel that my skin has had time to adapt to the products and produce some results. I don’t have any qualms is saying I have noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. I would definitely say it is softer, smoother and clearer. I would also go as far as to say that it does appear brighter and even more radiant, at the very least certainly more hydrated. Expect those dark circles under my eyes, no amount of cream (or make up) in the world seems to be able to shift those. The creams all live up to their branding, they do have the feel and effect of a ‘luxury’ skincare brand. I would happily recommend these products and more importantly I would happily spend my money on them and that is the best endorsement I think I could give it. These products can be brought from Ideal World currently the only stockist in the U.K.
I was sent these products in exchange for my honest opinion. All thoughts and opinions are of course my own.
