Hello ha and welcome back to #Familyfun the newly revived linky hosted by myself and the lovely Karen from Two Tiny Hands.
What-a-week- week 1 was, 55 link ups in our first week. I was thrilled with this debut so thank you very much to all of you linked up and joined in our #FamilyFun much love people, much love.
So to my featured post, I actually feel a bit pressured here, as I am finding it hard to choose just one, but I have to, apparently. So I am going with The Squirmy Popple ‘An apology to SAHM’. I love Katie’s style of writing, it is engaging and easy to read and this post in particular really hit me. I honestly never thought I’d call myself a SAHM, but I am and it is the hardest job I have had. Whilst there is no need to apologise to SAHM the sentiment of this post was really appreciated. It was nice to hear someone recognise that being a SAHM isn’t all coffee mornings and play dates, far from it. In the interest of fairness that is not to say that working parents have it any easier – there is no easy when it comes to parenting/family life/working. Anywho Katie please feel free to grab the badge and pop it on your site.
I was delighted to see that so many of you took part in the voting, it is a new addition to the linky that we hope you will agree is a bit of fun. The winner of the vote was indeed a very worthy winner – Katie from Diary of an Imperfect Mum with her post The Autism Post that goes viral and why I am not sharing. It is a brilliant written and thought provoking post that I would urge you to go check out. Please feel free to grab the badge Katie.
Another post that both Karen and I felt deserves a special mention is #Bloggersbeatingcancer by The Mumzilla. The post is important and heart felt and for a brilliant cause. So much so it has inspired me to join suit and write my own #bloggersbeatingcancer post to help raise awareness, I have linked it up this week. I have also linked up the first post in a new series called #MeetTheFamily. I new series of posts introducing you to some of our blogging family fun linkers.
So back to this week,
